Canada Post agrees to extend mediation by 24 hours

OTTAWA, Aug. 28, 2016. Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) have been negotiating through the weekend with the help of a special mediator. Court finds that workforce of FedEx Ground drivers are employees, not independent contractors

US Postal Service increases rates again

As has bee customary the last few years, the US Postal Service is increasing rates on January 27, 2013. The price for First-Class Mail single-piece letters will increase by one cent. The new 46 cent Forever stamps will allow customers to mail letters to any location in the United States. USPS to implement same day service

The United States Postal Service (USPS) just informed the Postal Regulatory Commission that it plans to launch an experimental same-day delivery service called Metro Post. The USPS says this test is specifically designed for e-commerce companies and will initially focus on a single metropolitan area, most likely San Francisco.
